GATE 2016 Exam will be held from January 30, 2016.That leaves GATE aspirants with one weeks of final revision for what is one of the toughest entrance exams in the country. Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the well known branches of engineering that finds its significance in various modes of the student’s life.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an All-India Examination conducted by the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai & Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, on behalf of the National Coordinating Board-GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.
The objectives of GATE is to identify meritorious and motivated candidates for admission to Postgraduate Programs in engineering at the National level. Every year one IIT or IISc is selected as the Organizing Institute. Admission of Postgraduate Courses, with MHRD Scholarship/Assistantship, in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy at Colleges/ Institutes will be open only to those who qualify in GATE.
