CTET Syllabus and Exam Pattern

CTET Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2021: CBSE has released the syllabus and exam pattern of CTET 2021. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be held from December 16, 2021, to January 13, 2022. Therefore, candidates must know the syllabus and pattern to prepare for the exam.

CTET Exam Pattern 2021

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test has two papers, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2.

  • CTET Paper 1 is for Lower Primary Teachers (classes 1 to 5)
  • CTET Paper 2 is for Upper Primary Teachers (classes 6 to 8)

There are four sections in CTET Paper 2. The last section, i.e., Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/ Social Science, holds major weightage. Furthermore, candidates have to choose the last section. Candidates should attempt questions according to their understanding.
