SSC Stenographer Grade C & D exam selection process is quite simple. First  Step  is  an  All  India  Written  Exam  &  Second  Step  is  Typing  Test/ Stenography Test. Candidates have to pass in each step for Selection to the Stenographer Post in various Governmental Departments.

SSC Stenographer Study Plan 2017: General Intelligence & Reasoning (60 Hours)

The best part of preparing for the reasoning section is that it can be solved by using common sense (Indeed, it is not so common). One’s presence of mind is more than sufficient to solve these problems and one can score very heavily in this section by having a strategy in place resulting in achieving the overall cut-off for the exam.     • Yes, the second stage will check your Shorthand technique.

      The candidates will have to appear for the Shorthand test. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade D. Candidates will be provided with a paper, and they have to write the dictated words in it. (If you will write in a normal way, you may not be able to write it with the speed that is required. Hence, you are adviced to use Shorthand technique). Later, the matter will have to be transcribed on the computer.
