BOI Specialist Officer: The application date is closing in. Interested candidates must now start preparing for the upcoming Bank of India Specialist Officer Exam. As per BOI Notification, there are 77 job vacancies for the post of Specialist Officer in Bank of India for Chartered Accountant, Risk Analyst, Law Officer, Information Technology, Technical Officer (Premises) and Technical Officer (Appraisal). BOI Specialist Officer Exam Pattern

Since there are different fields of specialization for the post of Specialist Officer, the exam pattern for Bank of India SO differs too. The marking scheme, total marks and time all differ for Law Officer Scale II and you can read about it in the section below.

For Law Officer Scale II

General Awareness is an additional section in BOI Specialist Officer Examination. The exam is of objective pattern and the total time allotted is 120 minutes.

The written exam is bilingual except for English Section. The marking scheme dictates the following terms.

  • 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
  • 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Note: Except for Professional Knowledge Section, both sections will have sectional cutoff.

For Chartered Accountant Scale II, Risk Analyst Scale II, Information Technology II and Technical Officer Scale II

The written exam will only contain 2 sections. The exam is of objective pattern and the total time allotted is 90 minutes.

  • 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.

Hence, apart from the burden of competing in another section, the exam difficulty level will be nearly same for all trades.
