Navodaya Vidyalaya NVS Syllabus Exam Pattern 2016: Navodaya Vidyalaya NVS Recruitment Exam will be conducted by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti sometime during the month of November or December to recruit candidates for posts like TGT, PGT, Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Misc. Teachers and TGT (III Language). There are around 2072 vacancies that need to be filled through this exam.

Navodaya Vidyalaya NVS Exam Pattern 2016

Navodaya Vidyalaya NVS Selection Process is a two level procedure which comprises of a written test and an interview. Before looking at the NVS syllabus, you need to know the exam structure and pattern for different posts of NVS.  Here, we have provided some crucial insights on Navodaya Vidyalaya Recruitment Exam for various categories that you must know. 

NVS Exam Pattern for Assistant Commissioner

Candidates appearing for the post of Assistant Commissioner will have to give a written examination. The exam consists of a total of 5 sections. Those who are able to obtain the minimum cut off marks will have to appear for the Interview round. The exam pattern for the written examination is given in the table below:

NVS Exam Pattern for Principal

Candidates appearing for the post of Principal will have to give a written examination. The exam consists of a total of 5 sections. Those who are able to obtain the minimum cut off marks will have to appear for the Interview round. The exam pattern for the written examination is given in the table below:

There will be a total of 180 questions carrying one mark each. Total time to solve the paper is 3 hours.

NVS Exam Pattern for PGT, TGT & Other Miscellaneous Teachers

Candidates appearing for the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Miscellaneous Teachers and TGTs (III Language), will have to give a written examination. The exam will consist of one paper i.e. General Paper. The General Paper consists of 5 subjects carrying a total of 200 marks. Total time to solve the paper is 2 hours.

Candidates who are able to clear the written exam with the minimum cut off marks will appear for Interview. However, candidates applying for the posts of TGTs, Miscellaneous Teachers (Librarian) and TGTs (III Language), do not have to appear for the Interview round. Selection will be purely based on their performance in the written examination round.
