    • A job in the Insurance Sector offers a better compensation than a clerical job. Hence, LIC AAO is more crucial in that sense.
After you crack IBPS Clerk Exam, your average compensation as an LDC or DEO would be between Rs. 18,000-25,000 whereas the average salary of an LIC Assistant Administrative Officer would be between Rs. 20,000-33,000 at the initial level.

    • Depends on what you are interested in.

Your work as Probationary Officer will be more of a desk job. You need to engage your customers with your skills as a representative of a Bank. You will make more than what an LIC Assitant Development Officer.

But when you get appointed as an Assistant Development Officer (ADO) at LIC, you get a lot of field experience too. Apart from a highly competitive job profile, you can make through incentives, something which is not applicable in the profile of a Bank PO.

      Choose accordingly.

As we’ve written above in our article, English is only a qualifying subject.
Marks scored in English will not be considered in calculating total score. Although, you need to clear the sectional cutoff of English.
