Kendriya Vidyalaya KVS Pattern, Exam Structure & Syllabus 2016: Kendriya Vidyalaya Recruitment Exam 2016 will be conducted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan sometime during the month of November or December to recruit candidates for the posts of TGT, PGT, Principal, Music Teachers.

Kendriya Vidyalaya KVS Pattern, Exam Structure & Scheme 2016

Kendriya Vidyalaya KVS Selection Process is a two level procedure which comprises of a written test and an interview. The candidates should aim to secure the minimum cut off marks in the paper 1, only then they will be evaluated for the second part of the question paper. The minimum marks required in the first part of the paper is as follows:

Hindi (5 marks) and English (5 marks) and 13 marks aggregate in both the subjects.

The final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the part 2 of the written  paper and interview. The weightage of both the tests is as follows:

  • Written Part 2 Exam: 70%
  • Interview Part of Exam: 30%

KVS Pattern for Primary Teacher

The examination will be conducted in two parts i.e., part 1 and part 2. Part 1 paper will consist of total 30 questions and the part 2 will consist of total 120 questions and both of the papers have multiple choice questions. Candidates willing to write this exam can go through this KVS pattern.

KVS Pattern for TGT

The examination will be conducted in two parts i.e., part 1 and part 2. Part 1 paper will consist of total 40 questions and the part 2 will consist of total 160 questions and both of the papers have multiple choice questions. Candidates willing to write this exam can go through this KVS pattern.

The examination will be conducted in three parts i.e., part 1, part 2 and part 3. Part 1 paper will consist of total 20 questions. Part 2 will consist of total 40 questions and Part 3 will consist of 100 questions. Candidates willing to write this exam can go through this KVS pattern.

The exam pattern for music teaches comprises of 2 parts carrying a total of 150 questions. The paper will be objective multiple choice questions based only. The total time duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
