Attempt KVS TGT/ PGT Exam: Kendriya Vidyalaya Exam 2016 will be conducted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to recruit candidates for the posts of TGT, PGT, Principal, Music Teachers. There are 6205 vacancies that need to be filled through this exam.

How to Attempt KVS TGT/ PGT: Do’s & Don’ts

Kendriya Vidyalaya KVS Selection Process is a two level procedure which comprises a written test and an interview. The candidates should aim to secure the minimum cut off marks in the paper 1, only then they will be evaluated for the second part of the question paper. The minimum marks required in the first part of the paper is as follows:

Hindi (5 marks) and English (5 marks) and 13 marks aggregate in both the subjects.

The final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the part 2 of the written  paper and interview. The weightage of both the tests is as follows:

  • Written Part 2 Exam: 70%
  • Interview Part of Exam: 30%

KVS Pattern for TGT

The examination will be conducted in two parts i.e., part 1 and part 2. Part 1 paper will consist of total 40 questions and the part 2 will consist of total 160 questions and both of the papers have multiple choice questions. Candidates willing to write this exam can go through this KVS pattern.

The total time duration for the exam is 180 minutes. Total marks assigned to the exam is 200. Candidates who are able to secure the cut off marks will then move to the Interview part.

KVS Pattern for Post Graduate Teachers

Part 1 paper will consist of total 40 questions and the part 2 will consist of total 160 questions and both of the papers have multiple choice questions. Candidates willing to write this exam can go through this KVS pattern.

Do’s for KVS Examination

  • Carry your Photo ID Proof in original along with its photocopy on your exam date.
  • Download your call letter before time. Also, It can be the possibility that KVS site loads slow during the last days as it will generate huge traffic in these final days.
  • Take your own pen and pencils to the examination hall, KVS will not provide any stationery during exam.
  • Also, you can try to attempt easy questions first and leave the difficult or time taking ones to save your precious time.

Don’ts for KVS Examination

  • Don’t waste your time on difficult or time taking questions as one can score high by solving easy questions.
  • Do not change your strategy at the last minute. Also, If you’ve worked on your own strategy previously, do not stray away from it just for a few more marks.
