IBPS PO 14 October Exam Analysis 2017 (Shift 1): The Institue of Banking & Personnel Selection has initiated the third-day journey IBPS PO prelims exam.The shift I of the day has ended and the students are now coming out of the test centers.

IBPS PO 14 October Exam Analysis: What was the difficulty level?

Before we begin our detailed exam review of IBPS PO Prelims, we would like to list out the exam pattern for the first time readers. The IBPS PO Prelims Exam had 3 sections i.e. English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. There were a total of 100 questions carrying 1 mark each.

There were no questions from Syllogism in today’s first shift. Compared to last week, candidates found today’s reasoning section to be more attemptable. The difficulty level was more or less similar.

  • Good Attempts: 17-18
  • Optimal Time: 25 Minutes

Tthe quant section had a proper mix of moderate to challenging questions. The level of difficulty of Quant Section in IBPS PO Prelims (Slot 1) was slightly Moderate.

Questions based on Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Ages, Partnership, Time and Work & DI were a bit challenging.

  • Optimal Time: 15 Minutes

This year, IBPS PO Prelims 2017 posed a major threat to aspirants who relied heavily upon scoring well in English Section. First, most scoring topics like Cloze Test were nowhere to be found and Sentence Rearrangement/ Improvement & spotting error questions were challenging to solve.
