CTET Previous Year Exam Analysis: Overall & Section wise Level (Paper 1 & 2)

CTET Previous Year Exam Analysis (Paper 1 & Paper 2): Last Year, CTET exam was successfully conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CTET 2016 exam was held on 18 September 2016 at various centers across the country. This time, its been end of the month but CBSE has not update any information regarding CTET February 2017 Examination.

Today we are going to share with you the Detailed CTET Previous Exam Analysis & review, highlighting the level of difficulty of each section and number of good attempts for both the papers 1 and 2 of CTET exam 2016.

Let us first go through CTET Paper 1 Exam Pattern of the year 2016. Candidates who to become a teacher for must give the CTET paper 1 exam.

As explained above, there were 5 sections in CTET Paper 1. The overall level of difficulty was Easy to Moderate, with the majority of questions asked being a bit of a task to solve. But, there were a few easy ones too.

Most candidates found this Section Moderate in terms of level of difficulty. Maximum questions were asked from the following sections

  • Learning and Pedagogy- 10 Questions

CTET Previous Year Exam Analysis: English Language

The English language section was Moderate in nature. The distribution of questions was as follows:

  • Reading comprehension- 9 questions
  • Reading poem- 6 questions
  • Pedagogy questions- 15 questions

CTET Previous Year Exam Analysis: Hindi Language  

The Hindi language section was Easy to Moderate in difficulty level. Maximum number of questions were from the following topics:

  • Reading comprehension- 10 questions
  • Reading poem- 5 to 10 questions
  • Pedagogy questions-15 questions

 Most candidates found this Section Moderate in terms of level of difficulty. The distribution of questions was as follows:

The Environmental Studies section was Easy to Moderate in difficulty level. Maximum number of questions were from the following topics:

CTET Paper 2 Exam Pattern: Class VI to VIII (Elementary Stage)
