BPSC Combined Competitive Exam Analysis 2015: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts the Combined Competitive Exam for recruiting candidates in various departments of the Bihar State Government. BPSC recently released the official notification regarding the 60th, 61st and 62nd Combined Joint Preliminary and Mains Examination.
This year, there are around 642 Posts in various departments of the Bihar Government under BPSC Recruitment. The online application has started from today and the last date of registration is 31 October 2016.

BPSC Exam Pattern 2016
The selection procedure for the BPSC Recruitment 2016 is like all other State PSC Exams. All aspiring candidates who are eligible first appear for the preliminary exam, which is objective type. The candidates who get through the first stage preliminary exam is called for Mains exam, which is of subjective nature.
The BPSC exam pattern for the combined competitive preliminary exam consists of:
- A total of 150 questions carrying one mark each.
- Multiple choice questions and the exam is qualifying in nature.
- The total time to solve to paper is 2 hours.
For the Written Examination, there are basically four papers in BPSC Main Examination:
- General Studies Paper 1
- General Studies Paper 2
- Optional Paper
Total marks assigned to Written Examination is 900. The applicants will have to obtain at least 30 marks in Hindi paper which will be qualifying in nature.

56 to 59th BPSC Combined Competitive Exam Analysis (Preliminary)
Analyzing previous years’ papers give useful insight into the nature and pattern of the exam. The BPSC Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam was held on 15 March 2015. The preliminary exam consists of 150 questions and total marks allotted to the paper is 150. The questions are asked from wide ranging topics related to history, polity, economy etc.
